This Privacy Policy describes how Floatify ("we", "our", or "the app") handles information when you use our Android application. We are committed to transparency about what data is collected, why, and how it is used.
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used. This is disabled in development builds and only active in production releases. Events collected include:
Each event includes basic device context: device manufacturer, model, Android OS version, and app version code. No personally identifying information is included.
If the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics automatically collects a crash report containing the stack trace, device model, Android version, and app version. This data is used solely to diagnose and fix bugs. No user content is captured.
For users who have not purchased the premium version, Floatify displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. Google may collect data to serve personalized ads in accordance with their own policies. You can opt out of personalized ads through your Android device settings (Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization). Purchasing premium permanently removes all ads.
In-app purchases are processed entirely by Google Play. We receive only a confirmation that a purchase was made. Payment details are never seen or stored by Floatify. Your premium status is stored locally on your device.
All your app settings are saved only on your device using Android's DataStore (encrypted preferences). This includes:

Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics data is retained according to Google's standard retention policies (typically 2 months for Analytics, 90 days for Crashlytics). Local device settings are retained until you uninstall the app or clear app data.
Floatify is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
